About the Founder
I am Dr. Courtney Jackson-McCray, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Codifi Medical Coding & Consulting, LLC (CMC). I received my Doctor of Healthcare Administration from Virginia University of Lynchburg (2024).
I received my Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from Herzing University and my Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. I am a Certified Professional Coder (2007), a Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (2020), and an AAPC Approved Instructor.

I am a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS ), the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), and the New Orleans Regional Black Chamber of Commerce. Some of my job roles include Manager of Coding and Clinical Documentation, Risk Adjustment Business Consultant, High-Risk Disease Detection Manager, Risk Adjustment Coder, Coding Educator II, Medical Biller, and Certified Nursing Assistant.
I have worked for Medicare Advantage Payers, Physician’s offices, and Urgent Care centers. Medical coding is my passion, and I love what I do! With over 20 years in healthcare, I want to share my knowledge and expertise through teaching to EDUCATE, MOTIVATE, and help others ELEVATE in their career.
