​Certified Professional Coder (CPC)

We have partnered with the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) to deliver our curriculum through a combination of lectures, case studies, and training. Students can practice coding scenarios and gain experience in billing and coding. Once students have completed the training, with a score of 70% or higher they will be prepared for the associated AAPC certification exams. Students will be awarded the associated credentials from AAPC when they successfully pass the exams.

  3. Understand and apply the official ICD-10-CM coding guidelines

  4. Apply coding conventions when assigning diagnoses and procedure codes

  7. Code a wide variety of patient services using CPT®

  8. ICD-10-CM and HCPCS Level II codes

  9. List the major features of HCPCS Level II codes

  10. Provide practical application of coding operative reports and evaluation and management services.
